Just finished sewing for the day.
84 Kaftans & Kimonos so far, 100 needed for both shows. 32 Flower Child Kimonos ready to go.
The Flower Child burn out velvet kimonos are called Little Stevie's after the Goddess of Rock Stevie Nicks. Kimono Jackets are new for the shows this year, the pink one is call Haight Ashbury.
My show stopper this season is a vintage silk chiffon sari heavily hand beaded deep red kimono. It is almost finished and it is fabulous. The weight of the beading feels amazing when you have it on.
My banners came for the Bohemian Tent. I am taking a little bit of my WALL OF INSPIRATION from MY HIPPIE HEART online shop with me.
Getting my ducks in a row, new bags are ready , making the tags tomorrow, asking the Goddesses for at least no rain.
Natasha's DreamWeavers and Little Birdees are incredible, she has really out done herself. Going now for a well deserved glass of wine or a cup of tea I will see how tired I am.

SEWING MACHINE IS HUMMING....IT IS FESTIVAL SEASON!!!
Getting ready for the DUNDAS ARTISAN MARKET September 10 at the Dundas Driving Park at the end of King Street from 10 to 4. MY HIPPIE HEART and FEATHER + SKYE will be there. We are working steady with lots of amazing pieces for you to see. The studio is buzzing all day with the hum of the sewing machine, fabric everywhere ( as well as my 5 dogs, they love to help). Hope you can all join us. If you can't make it we will be at the CAMBRIDGE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL at RIVERSIDE PARK on September 23rd. Stop by and say hi.
