We lasted until August, telling ourselves that the beagle that was left behind needed a companion!
We still miss the dogs that have gone before, but you learn to think more of the happy times you shared.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1447747237940842675.post-29345966293041053352012-03-29T00:42:10.907-04:002012-03-29T00:42:10.907-04:00Oooooh so cute. Every one of our 4 kitties were adopted. Our pets stores help people meet up with cats that have no home and we feel the same as you, it's been a true gift and we wouldn't change any of our furry family for anything. Sending all those love positive energies your way to help you when you feel blue.

Hugs and Happiness to all !ArtSings1946https://www.blogger.com/profile/06334512350452471407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1447747237940842675.post-38436521675646590232012-03-28T20:34:10.071-04:002012-03-28T20:34:10.071-04:00I know what you mean about choosing another dog to...I know what you mean about choosing another dog to add to the family. It's definitely the right thing to do to go and adopt a shelter dog or cat. I'm excited to see who you choose for your two new babies.
Hugs,
SusanSusan At Glen Oaks Primitiveshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03619649654030199570noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1447747237940842675.post-6671175212654861052012-03-28T15:14:27.662-04:002012-03-28T15:14:27.662-04:00My husband loves the smell of puppy breath too. They were all 3 rescued and 2sisters with one brother. We lost one of the females so I have a boy and a girl left. We had Chewy for a great 3 years. I don't think I will ever forget her. It's ok to want another pet , you just want to give love and receive it back. Thanks or the sweet pictures of puppies, makes me want a puppy lol.Heidihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07837896034601486189noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1447747237940842675.post-65713972967865956492012-03-28T14:46:18.964-04:002012-03-28T14:46:18.964-04:00Oh, how can anyone resist those sweet little faces...Oh, how can anyone resist those sweet little faces and those beautiful eyes? The wiggly bodies and the puppy breath. It's the best breath ever. My son thinks I'm nuts when I say that, but brand new puppy breath is sweet and adorable. I really do miss my two, also. Now we have four kitties and hubby says: "Um, enough for now, honey." So... maybe when we're in the country finally and have more room. :D And I agree with you, it's so difficult to get them from a shelter because you have to leave some behind, but it's the best place to get them. All of my animals have been rescue animals or tossed out animals. Two quite literally. One, my Lexi Bird who was a Lab mix was tossed from a moving car right into my legs on a busy street. I couldn't believe it. She was a wonderful dog. The other (a guinea pig) was found in a trash can outside of a factory. What the heck? Thank goodness my friend's husband heard a funny noise and checked it out.

I feel for you. I know how much you must miss your furry family members. Hugs to you and I'll be checking in to see if you end up adopting any fur babies sooner than next year.

Brightest blessings to you and yours,
BirdBirdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03462066212434419271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1447747237940842675.post-70890472058997480402012-03-28T14:22:22.496-04:002012-03-28T14:22:22.496-04:00Oh they are all so darling. They now have Westies and what a difference. Our daughter and her family hope they live many many years. It is such a tragedy to lose them.
Happy adopting.
QMMAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04721708092323894355noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1447747237940842675.post-58197900607051292262012-03-28T13:59:15.328-04:002012-03-28T13:59:15.328-04:00Ohhhhh, aren't they all so sweet!!!! You will...Ohhhhh, aren't they all so sweet!!!! You will know when the time is right. I know the feeling. I always feel bad that I can't give ALL of them a home. All our fur babies have been adopted from the boxer rescue. Sophie was the only puppy (six months) that we adopted. Hannah was 3 and Kodak 1 when we adopted them. I would also adopt a senior, 8 plus, in a heartbeat but I couldn't right after losing Hannah and Kodak so close together as I know boxers generally don't have long lives and my heart couldn't take another break so soon.

xoxoMarsha @ Tattered Chickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02649306456279297614noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1447747237940842675.post-13060907388184104402012-03-28T13:52:12.841-04:002012-03-28T13:52:12.841-04:00When we lost our furbabies I thought I'd wait ...When we lost our furbabies I thought I'd wait too.Of course I was lonely and hubby kept telling me about dogs and pups.He was the one that actually brought them home but I was quickly caught up in the warm love.Warm Blessings!~AmyBumbleBeeLanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06605535783786407254noreply@blogger.com
