HURRY! JUST ONE MORE DAY UNTIL THE GIVEAWAY!
Winter finally hit us yesterday in this part of Canada. It was very pretty, I am glad we had no where to go.
It was all still here this morning but it will not be here for long. On Wednesday our temperatures will hit 7C (44F) and all this pretty white fluffy snow will disappear. Now on to the Giveaway.
The VALENTINES GIVEAWAY ends tomorrow January 31st. at midnight. As you can see I have added a few more goodies to the Jewelry and Corset Heart.
I have added these two sweet Alice in Wonderland Valentine Cards which I made.
Along with the pretty Vintage Heart Necklace & tiny Lock I have now included a pair of Cinnamon Earrings like the ones I made for our guests at our son & daughter-in-laws Alice In Wonderland Wedding Reception and a cute Vintage Flower Brooch from my grandmother's collection. I am only 5 followers away from 200 so if I happen to hit that by the closing of the VALENTINES GIVEAWAY I will add some more goodies to the package.
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE AND DON'T FORGET TO LEAVE YOUR COMMENTS ON THE VALENTINE GIVEAWAY POST.

I ENJOY BEING A GIRL!
Ever since I was a little girl I enjoyed the fun of dressing up and pretending to be a big girl.
I enjoy putting on makeup. I do it everyday even if I am not going anywhere. I do it for me!
I love wearing jewelry. I never leave the house without earrings. I love shiny and sparkly things.
FASHION. I loooooooooove fashion! Even if I can't afford the things I long for I still like to look and dream.
Nothing make me feel more girly than painting my finger nails and toe nail RED! Try it sometime, it is very sensual.
I adore froo froo, over the top Alice in Wonderland tea parties.
Flowers, lots and lots and lots of flowers.
Pretty, romantic bedrooms.
And blowing bubbles. You are never too old to blow bubbles. Think it sounds a bit childish? Try it and see how you become mesmerized by those rainbow orbs floating in the sun. You will do it again and again.
So yes, I adore being a "girl". No matter how old I get, when I am putting on my makeup and donning my heels, I am still that little girl wearing the big girl dresses, jewelry and shoes and putting on the lipstick just so and twirling in front of the mirror...........dreaming!

A LITTLE BIT OF THE & A LITTLE BIT OF THAT & GIVEAWAYS!!!!!!!
It is one of those wet January days. We woke up to snow but it has melted very quickly leaving behind that lovely slush.
Stella took one look outside and headed for her favourite chair where she will probably spend the day. Her furry siblings haven't even gotten out of bed yet.
To make the day a little cheerier, I made some delicious scones. Served with piping hot tea and gorgeous blueberry jam from France. I close my eyes and pretend I am on the countryside of Burgundy with the sun beating down on my face. Oh well, I can dream can't I?
My issue of Decor came in the post this morning. Browsing through I came across this fantastic wall of numbers! You know I love numbers. These were used to post the winning horses at a race.
My spring cleaning is pretty much finished so I am looking for things to keep me busy. I thought I would make some Valentines Cards. They turned out kind of cute so I am putting a couple in with my VALENTINES GIVEAWAY package.
Still 5 days left until my VALENTINES GIVEAWAY so don't forget to go to the post and sign up. Just click on the words VALENTINES GIVEAWAY.. And have a look on my sidebar there are a lot of amazing GIVEAWAYS to enter. Now I'm off to the post office to pick up some packages. I don't know what they are. I do like ordering online it's like my Birthday and Christmas everytime I pick something up. Hope you all have a lovely day!

MY LOVE OF NUMBERS!
I have always loved the look of numbers. I don't know what it is but I think they look so funky and cool.
I like them old and new. A bowl full of rusted, worn numbers from houses or a pile of new ones.
I like them painted on stairs.
I like them on furniture, I love them on pillows!
I especially love them on china. These are the Anthropologie cups they put on special last summer for $3.00 (damn you Anthropologie, it's the yellow bird cup all over agian!)
There is just something about the look of numbers. I adore finding old rusted signs or house numbers and bringing them home & giving them new life.
They come in all shapes and sizes like these cute wooden numbers, they look like bingo numbers but there are no letters, maybe there are from a draw.
I even put numbers above my bedrooms. I thought it made it look like an old hotel, my friends got a kick out of it and said it looked like a house of ill-repute, just shows you where their minds are.
When I am shopping if I see anything with a number I go right to it. I picked up these gorgeous tins last summer. I got three of them for $3.00 each then later picked up some more for $1.00.
I just bought these adorble letters & number rubber stamps for PRETTY M ON ETSY I only paid $13.98. They come in their own wooden container, what a steal! She has a lot of different sets and fabulous paper items too.
And I love to do some numbering on my own, add them to anything. This is a cute idea from another blog SWEET LITTLE SMOOTHIE. She took these piggies from the dollar store and painted them with blackboard paint and added her own numbers. Adorable!
So I don't know if there is a name for it but I am a number connoisseur. I covet them in every shape and form. I like letters too but there is something about numbers, it all adds up!

DREAMING OF SPRING!
It is raining and quite a bit warmer today, 9C for us Canadians that's 48F. I can smell the earth today. You know that wonderful springtime smell when you know that anytime the Goddess of Spring will be blessing us with Crocus popping its little heads out of the ground.
The bluebells are waiting to dot the fields with their blanket of velvet glory.
My mountain of clay pots are waiting their spring fill.
And soon, I hope, my garden will once again be budding with shades of green. This is actually my favourite look in my garden. Although the full, lushness of summer is beautiful, there is something about the new birth of a spring garden.
I will be waiting with anticipation for this little guy to sing its spring song and built its nest in the tree over my back porch.
But, alas, I know that the Goddess of Spring is still sleeping for a couple of months anyway. But when she awakes I will be ready for her breath of Spring air.
Only 8 days left until my VALENTINES GIVEAWAY so don't forget to enter. I am adding some other surprise goodies as well.
