I live my life surrounded by the wonders of the earth. I believe in magic and the whimsical side of the world. When I was growing up I loved to sit at night on my Grandparents farm and watch the fireflies light up the dark sky. I knew they were really faeries.
A couple of years ago our son's old school in the village, which had been sold a couple of times, was purchased by, of all things wonderful, a Circus School! Driving home the other evening I asked my husband to turn up that road to see if the trapeze was up and if anyone was practicing. As we came closer, rising up in the open field was a sight to behold.
The most delightful thing, to see the unexpected. The Circus had come to town in our own little town of Jerseyville. Magic!
