After refinishing the Harvest Table for our son and his family,(the one we had made for 13 Mockingbirds Reproduced Pine Furniture) I loved the raw finish so much that we did our 150 year old baker's Harvest Table. We left the bottom warm red pine but the top, a bit darker in photos, is a lovely pale pine with all of the dings and cigarette burns at the end of the table( the baker must have been a smoker), showing through. I just love it. This was the first piece we bought for our farmhouse many years ago from my grandmother, who was an antique's dealer. We paid $90 and it was also the first piece I had ever refinished. Now it has a fresh lovely weathered look.....I just love it.
