I'M FOREVER BLOWING BUBBLES!!!

 Ever since I was a little girl I have loved to blow bubbles.

 

I spend endless hours in the summer with a bowl of homemade bubbles just watching them as they floated away in an array of rainbow colours, going up and up to far away places.

I have never stopped blowing bubbles.  I keep bottles all over my house, studio, hippie house and screened-in room.  I blow bubbles all year, even in the snow.  It is so relaxing.  Once I start and watch those magical orbs float away everything else floats away with them.

It is something that is so simple and pure, like childhood.  If you feel stress or sadness just get out your bubbles and I can guarantee it will lift your spirits.

Everyone loves bubbles!  It is something you can do with your kids, grandkids and even your pets will get joy from it.

Make your own or buy some but keep those bubble around, it is the best, free therapy and a whole lot of fun.

SUMMER SOLSTICE...TONIGHT WE FEAST!!!

A blessing to all of this most sacred of days, the beginning of summer solstice.  Tonight we feast and offer blessings to the goddess of summer for rebirth and abundance.

SUMMER IS BEGINNING TO BLOOM AT OUR COUNTRY MARKET!!!!!

 Spring has sprung and Summer is slipping silently around the corner.  This is abundantly clear at our local Farmer's Market, Josmar Acres.

There is a wonderful selection of Perrenials and Annuals to choose from.  Piles of colour for your eyes to enjoy.

Gorgeous greens too.  Lovely hanging baskets spilling over with every shade of green plant you can imagine.  I particularly like their Boston Ferns.  I buy several every Season for our front porch, they are the fullest most luscious ferns I have ever seen.

They make the most wonderful hanging baskets and urns.  Bursting of colour and assorted plants.

And let's not forget the inside.  Lovely tender Asparagus, plump juicy Strawberries ( I scooped up 2 boxes of the 12 first picked ones....they were delicious, I ate half before I even got home.)  Honey, Eggs, Cheeses, everything you can imagine a Country Farmer's Market to be.

If you are ever in Lynden, Ontario you must stop by.  They are at Lynden and Powerline Road and they are open all year, it is well worth the trip.
