We have been working on our "new" distressed floor for the living room on the farm. The beautiful antique sofa was my inspirations. I was smarter this time. When we did the bedroom turquoise distressed floors we laid the floor first and then I painted, distressed, stained and varnished. It was the most difficult and painful decorating project I had ever done. This time I was smart, I am doing all of that including the varnishing first, thank goodness for a large workshop, and then my husband just has to cut the boards and put it together like a puzzle.......easy. peasy right?
