BLESSING ON LUGHNASADH (LAMMAS) AUGUST 1ST.

Lammas, also called Lughnasadh, falls at the beginning of the harvest season. Apples are ready and grain is beginning to ripen. It's also a day for honoring Lugh, the Celtic craftsman god.

This signifies the beginning of the end of long summer nights. The harvest is coming, the sun has done it's job and ripened the bounty we have planted in the Spring.

Enjoy the fruits of your labours ( or of others from their gardens) and soak in the rest of this beautiful season.

Blessings & bliss to you all from the Wicked Faerie Queen.

  4. I hope you had a wonderful Lughnasadh (even if I wouldn't be able to actually pronounce it).
