Fall has officially come to the farm. The leaves are down and the flowers are looking a little sad. Time for some pumpkins and firey colours. The dogs are enjoying the cooler weather too.
As you can see, Rufus and Daisy get a little sleepy with this weather. Especially Rufus who could not keep his eyes open. It was only 10 a.m. when I took this picture.
I have my Fall decorating done. Because our Thanksgiving is at the beginning of October, this year the 8th. which is also my wedding anniversary, I get my decorating done for the Fall early because right after Thanksgiving the house gets decked out for HALLOWEEN!
I found some Cinderella Pumpkins this season. I just love them, so squat and plump and deep orange. I also found these cute mini striped pumpkins. I will be going back to Josmar Farms pumpkin patch tomorrow to grab some of their wierd worty pumpkins, they have some beauties this year. I picked up some huge moon pumpkins yesterday, I will show you those later.
Here is an update on the adorable Tyson. It looks like he finally has a family! Brenda let me know the other day that a nice couple was coming to meet him and they all got along really well. He will be going to live with his new family in a couple of weeks. I am so happy because every pet deserves a loving home.
Don't forget to go over to
BRENDA AT THE RUSTY THIMBLE to enter the

Now here is something for all of you wonderful ghouls, I mean girls. By the end of the week I will announce my SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES HALLOWEEN GIVEAWAY. I am going to work on something special today in the studio for a lucky winner. It will be a quick giveaway so you can get your spooky gift before Halloween.
Well, that is all for today, Daisy would like to go into the studio now to work and if we can wake Rufus up from his dreaming he will come too. Have a beautiful Fall day my lovelies!
It's a hard life being a dog. Had eating his breakfast made Rufus so tired?
ReplyDeleteRufus and I are like minded or many sleep minded. About 2PM can't hardly keep my eyes open. You are sure full of fire and vinegar getting ready for the holidays. Enjoy
