Oh what a fabulous morning. One of those perfect summer days sunny and cool but so fresh. I want to welcome my new followers and thank all of you who are putting my giveaway on their blogs. I love being part of the blogging neighbourhood! I just finished a couple of lovely little pillows for my shop "Wicked Faerie Queen" and wanted to show them to you. I am doing a whole line of pink pillows, in all different shades. I never knew there were so many shades of pink. PURE BLISS

Seeing my sons new baby daughter holding onto his finger is pure bliss to me.

STRIPES!

I love black and white stripes! When I redecorated my kitchen last summer in French Country, I could not resist doing my vintage chair ( from the 1930's I got it for $20 at a thrift store) in wide black & white stripes. I didn't stop there. We also did our bathroom and my husband built the vanity which, yes, I could not help myself, I painted in stripes. The bathroom walls are a lovely chamomille green. The total cost of the chair including the chair was around $28. The vanity with the sink and taps ( sink new but kijiji purchase for $50 taps from ebay new for $75) was around $150. Don't you just adore thrifting and antiquing, it is the ultimate recycling system.

TUTU CUTE!

I just had to share this lovely tutu dress with all of you. I ordered it for my sweet grandbaby and it finally came today. It is from Sew Loved Boutique on Etsy and she did a lovely job. It is layers and layers of strips of tulle embellished with leaves on the top and it ties on one shoulder. I also ordered the faerie wings. I got a size for a 2 year old so I can take pictures of my little doll running around in our field looking for faeries!

LOVELY DAY, LOVELY LIFE

It is such a nice morning, as I look across my property I know that this is the place I have always been happiest. If I have a day where things don't look good (and don't we all) I just look around me and a calm falls into place. Love is all around us whether it is with a person, a pet or a feeling you get from a place, a song or even a movie. I am not pushing my hippie mentality on anyone, but the next time you feel overwhelmed, or a little lost, go to your happy place, we all have one.
