HEART SHAPED

There is no arguing that the symbol of Valentines Day is the heart.

We see it in chocolates.

Jewelry.

A romantic getaway.

And of course on Valentines Cards. I have noticed that the pleasing shape of the heart can be seen not just on Valentines Day but all year.

Home furnishings.

Fashion for big and little girls.

Heart shaped balloons can be found all year.

Art.

Some of us love the shape of a heart so much we permanetly adorn ourselves with one.

And let's not forget sunglasses.

There is something about the way we can form hearts natually, like how you can make a heart with your own hands.

How the graceful necks of two swans (who mate for life by the way) curve into a natural heart.

Two kittens entwine their tails to make....a heart!

And these two little guys are two halves of a whole.

Even these little sleepers made a heart.

Whether they are made of paper, metal, fabric or chocolate the soft, curvaceous shape of the heart is not just for Valentines Day anymore but it is still a lovely thought to give one to someone special on the day.
