I just want to thank all of you for your well wishes with our beautiful Penny. She is much better today, eating, drinking and she even barked last night. We are hoping she has another summer so she can have tea with me in the garden every morning like we have every summer.
It is so nice to have the support and friendship of the lovely blogging circle that has become part of my life. I truly feel a kinship and friendship with each and every one of you and look forward to a summer of garden, holiday and family posts.

I'm glad to hear that Penny seems a little better. One winter we had something similar happen with our fifteen year old beagle, and we decided the time had come to take her to the vet. Well we got snowed in and couldn't go, so we sat with her and kept her as comfortable as we could, and she picked up and lived another year and a half!
