AUTUMN ON THE FARM!!!

It has been a very, very hot September here in Ontario, now October has lifted her sleepy head and it is still warm.  Never the less, it is Fall and time to put the gardens to bed, store the pots and summer decor and bring out the orange, red and yellow.

We always leave the old pumpkins at the end of the season in the back field for the mice, chipmunks and squirrels to enjoy.  This was all that was left from around 12 pumpkins and it is just so lovely to me.  Duffy and Penny's garden is becoming a blanket of leaves now dotted with orange, whit and kind of pink.

I love pumpkins and try to find unusual ones every season.  This warty dark green one is as close to black I will probably get....so pretty.

Pumpkins fill every available space on the farm, fountains, planters or just on the ground.  The pink ones are called Peanut Pumpkins.  I still love the tradition orange the best though.

TOO YOUNG!!!

I just found out that Tom Petty has died at age 66.  I am so sad, he was so young, he will be so missed.

DUNDAS ARTISAN MARKET DONE!!!

We did the Dundas Artisan Market on Sunday Sept. 10.  Exhausting setting this one up.  Beautiful day weather wise.

Lots of people coming through, My Hippie Heart did not do as good as last year.  Feather + Skye did well, I am very happy for Natasha about that, it gives a new business that boost it needs.

I could have sold those elephant tapestries I bought on eBay for $5.99 each 10 times over!

It was still nice to be out with Natasha doing the shows.  We are at the Cambridge International Festival on Sept. 23, a much larger venue, fingers crossed.  We will have a double bohemian tent for that one too.  I will keep you updated.
