Trying to get my etsy shop off the ground.

Hi,

I don't know if anyone out there even knows I have a blog.  I am trying so hard to get my etsy shop "wickedfaeriequeen@etsy.com" to be viewed.  I look at other shops and everyone seems to have so many people visiting and a lot of sale I cannot figure out what else to do.  I have advertised, made treasuries, joined teams and I create really nice , unique pieces.  I now not only do handpainted boxes but I have ooak dolls, pincushions, wedding stuff, I just keep adding hoping something will take.

If anyone out there visits this blog feel free to visit my shop and give me you honest critique and advise if you have any.  Please don't be mean but be honest I would really like some help.

Thanks,
Sue

  1. I had a nice comment all written in this space and the computer apparently ate it. I was saying that I have studies etsy seller's sold history/feeback and have noticed that small items with low shipping sell easier than big stuff (like I build). I also noticed the biggest factor is apparently TIME. Time = 3 years to become an established etsy store with some business. Not many people are knocking out a real living solely through etsy. So, you/(we) just have to keep at it I guess? I think it helps to relist your better things a little more often - say every 1 month instead of every 4 months. I am also working on increasing my circle. Why? I have no idea why but someone on the WRR team said it is a good thing to do. LOL

  2. Hello Sue;

    I just have to tell you, I had a good laugh at your expense... my expense... our expense. Sigh!

    Well, fellow OFG sister, you see, even though we're both floating out in this great big ocean feeling like we're all alone, I think our boats just collided. I have been woking all day on trying to figure out my blog and just finished posting, then I went to OFG and came upon your post. You see, I have been searching all day to sind answer to the exact same thing. So I just had to write to let you know that you are not alone, and that if you feel like jumping ship, drop me a line instead. Please stop by and visit my blog, and if you ever find the answer we are both looking for, I would appreciate it if you would e-mail me. Good Luck, Beth
