MERRY MEET NOVEMBER!

I hope everyone had a wonderful All Hallows Eve. I know we did. November is here and I am taking down Halloween and beginning Christmas. Very busy today so here is a little poem I will leave you with that I wrote this morning as I drank my coffee in the crisp morning air and looked at all of the work that still had to be done on the farm to prepare for the Winter Solstice.

The veil drops on another Hallows Eve,

The spirits rest and wait for Samhain to come again,

As Hecate leave us with magic and wisdom,

We wait for the Snow Goddess to slowly come.

November is here and she beckons the Winter Solstice,

As she wraps us with winds to clear the path,

For the snowy skirts of the Winter Goddess to blanket the earth,

So December can bring forth merriment, wonder and mirth.

Blessed Be!

  5. I'm glad you had a good Halloween, and hope you enjoy your New Year. We're looking forward to the Christmas holidays too, but for us it's not time to decorate yet...

I'm stubbornly clinging to autumn for another few weeks until American Thanksgiving. Autumn is such a short season!

Love your decorations...it looks like we've been sharing a Pinterest folder! Those tuna can sconces are adorable!
